Today we are going to share something which is picked from Adobe Forums and solution has worked. It 's about the situation when your Lasso Tool starts creating problems. Here application quits on the usage of Lasso tool. So if this happens with you, just follow step mentioned below - After opening a photograph in Editor workspace, click on the highlighted area in above image. It's area where image size is mentioned. Keep your mouse in clicked form for 10 seconds and Editor will go in 'Not Responding' state. Now leave it and try to use Lasso Tool. Not sure if this will also work on Win-XP or not, because Not-Responding state is more frequent on Vista & Win7 as compared to Win-XP.

Why do we get 'sweatPea error' in Adobe Photoshop Elements

This error occurs when there are some issues with Plugins on the system. When EO is launching it tries to fetch the plugins from two locations (for win7):

1.    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\Plug-Ins
2.    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements 10

*** Version in above paths will change to PSE version installed on your computer.

As told already that this error occurs when there are some issues with Plugins. The issues can be-

1.    Plugins are not present at their recommended locations.
2.    Some plugins may be missing (may be removed by anti-virus or similar softwares).
3.    Plugins gets corrupted.

To avoid getting this error message-

>> Uninstall PSE. Now close any anti-virus (or similar software) and re-install PSE.

Some External drives can create problems while taking Backup of your Catalogs in Elements Organizer

Many times it happens that Organizer goes in long wait-time while taking Backup of Catalogs and at times, overall performance goes down. At this point of time, people think that Back feature has stopped working.

There can be various reasons for slow response, but one of the main reason found on forums is - External Drives. Not all, but some of the external hard-drives create this problem. So simply remove your external drives and see if it helps.

Here is one of the sample post on Adobe-Forums which talks about a similar problem - http://forums.adobe.com/message/4458794#4458794
