Since many of the things have changed in 11th version of Adobe Photoshop Elements. I just saw an option to hide or show People Tags in Organizer 11. Now People Tags are separately shown in Tags Panel of Elements Organizer 11. With that an option is provided under View Menu, through which you can hide or show them.
