During installation process of Adobe Photoshop Elements, we can create shortcut on Desktop. This Shortcut launches Welcome Screen of Adobe Photoshop Elements and further we need to choose if we want to launch Organizer or Editor. Many folks create desktop shortcuts for Organizer & Editor, so that Welcome screen can be bypassed to directly launch relevant application.
On Windows, please follow below mentioned steps to create shortcuts.
Righ-click on your Desktop and select 'Shortcut' option under 'New'. Then browse to the location of the executable for Organizer/Editor or both:
The Editor's executable can be located at -
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer executable can be located at -
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The Editor's executable can be located at -
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer executable can be located at -
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
On Mac, launch the Organizer or Editor and click-hold the dock icon and choose 'Keep in Dock'.
